It’s our day

Not a new day

I miss our old way

No matter what you say

A year pasted

And I’m still lost without you

Can’t escape the shadow of you

This pain no longer you

But I still can’t envision a life without you

I can fix my mistakes

Your heart too fragile

Like paper plates

Nothing to sy

Far too little

Far too late

More than your love

I want your happiness

I’ll be a ghost to you

A whisper that cheers

For everything you do

Wherever you go

Whoever you meet

I’ll your guardian Angel

Invisible to you

Visible to all that would hurt you

Me included

I’ll face your fears

Lift your hopes

Make your dreams come true

That’s what I’ll always do

you beautiful brown eyed, brown sugar babe

I’ll always root for you

In every universe I do

MY Beloved

I write this letter

To express my love

For time we shared

The memories that I hold dear

We wrote our names in sand

Promising forever

Now it’s washed away

Becoming muddy mush

I spilt water on our promise

Too many times

And you no longer want to hunt for sand to fix it

I’ll sit here by the ocean

Staring into reflections

Of our lives

It’s okay you found

A newer beach, something cleaner

I’m happy here

At our old deserted beach
